EL students in Mrs. Sanchez's class had a great time completing their assignment that included all four English Language Domains--Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. Students wrote a script using their vocabulary words, then acted it out. Other students who observed were asked questions about the story line.





Congratulations to the HMS EL classes that were rewarded with ice cream sundaes for having perfect attendance during the LAS Links Test Administration!!!

HMS Fun Day (UPDATED 4/11): Please see the attached flyer for UPDATED information regarding the HMS Fun Day. Changes to the date and points requirement have been made. This event is to celebrate the students that work hard in after-school and Saturday tutorial sessions. Students must have 28 points to attend the event.

Lady Bearcats Make the All-Tournament Team: Forest Lady Bearcat basketball players Mikayla Holifield, Kelviana Parhm, and Denim Morgan were selected to the MHSAA 3A State All-Tournament Team. The Lady Bearcats were runners-up in the 3A state championship game.


Forest Lady Bearcat star, Kelviana Parhm, recently signed a basketball scholarship to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
