The legendary venue is named after former Mississippi Association of Coaches and Scott County Hall of Fame head basketball coach, Durward G. Smith, and is home to Forest and Hawkins basketball and Forest volleyball. The venue seats 1800 and features home and visitors dressing rooms, a weight room, concession stand, coaches offices, storage for the high school basketball teams, and a maintenance closet.
The venue is home to Forest baseball and seats approximately 500. It features a 2 story press box/concession stand, outdoor batting cage, a storage area for mowers and equipment, and a brand new right field scoreboard. Adjacent to the baseball field is the baseball fieldhouse. The fieldhouse is equipped with a dressing room, indoor batting cage which can also be used for practice during bad weather, upstairs storage, and a coach’s office. One of the unique features of the fieldhouse is the Wall of Fame which honors teams from previous years and former Bearcat players who went on to have successful college and professional careers.
The venue seats approximately 300 and features an adjoining concession area and public restrooms. The venue also houses the Lady Bearcat Softball fieldhouse. The fieldhouse features a state of the art indoor batting area which can also serve as a practice area for other teams during bad weather, an upstairs storage area, team locker room, and a coach’s office.
Gaddis Park is home to Forest tennis and also houses the Scott County Hall of Fame. It features 6 lighted hard courts, outdoor seating, and a clubhouse.
The venue is named after former Forest Municipal School District superintendent, L. O. Atkins, and is home to Forest and Hawkins football and soccer. The stadium seats over 2,300 and features an original crushed brick track, possibly the only 3 story open-air press box in the State of Mississippi, home and visitors concession stands, a soccer/track fieldhouse, and a new scoreboard which was erected in 2023. A wonderful feature of the press box is that a photographer or statistician is able to film or view action from either a football or baseball event from the 3rd floor.
