Last night, under challenging weather conditions, the Forest High School Bearcats took on their rivals, the Morton Panthers, in the annual Battle of the Golden Chicken. Braving the rain, the Bearcats powered through to defeat Morton 28-3, claiming the Region 5-4A championship and proudly bringing the Golden Chicken trophy back home to Forest!
