This past Saturday, February 15th, was National School Resource Officer Day, and we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for Officer Coshune Bingham and the dedication he brings to our district every day!
"The safety of our schools is the foundation for student success. A secure environment allows children to learn, grow, and thrive." – Unknown
Officer Bingham plays a crucial role in keeping Forest Municipal School District safe—serving at all three campuses (elementary, middle, and high school), central office, and athletic events after school hours.
In Officer Bingham's own words:
"My goal each day is to ensure a safe and supportive environment where students can focus on learning, teachers can teach, and families have peace of mind knowing their children are protected. What I love most about being a School Resource Officer is the opportunity to build positive relationships with students in a challenging world. I’m able to proactively address potential safety issues, maintain a secure school environment, and witness the success of students—especially those who face significant challenges—as they achieve milestones like graduation and other accomplishments in life."
Thank you, Officer Bingham, for your unwavering commitment to safety and service! We appreciate you! 🐾
